The Big News Is…
19 06 2007Apokalypse Software Corp. has recently acquired two great productivity apps, Mori and Clockwork, from Jesse Grosjean of Hog Bay Software. Press release here. These apps fit neatly into my dream software environment, so I had to jump at the chance to make them mine. To current Mori and Clockwork owners I say, “Welcome aboard, I think you’re going to love their direction”. To Jesse, their original developer I say, “Thank you for these great apps and the opportunity to adopt them. They’ve got a new great home.”

I’m staring at my Mori notebook with several years worth of sweat, experience, and well worn pages. What’s this? Welcome aboard the Apokalypse? What have I gotten myself into. I’m subscribing to your RSS feed, and man, I’m rooting for you.
I just started using Mori to implement by GTD system. Having spent some time setting it up, I must admit that the change of developer has got me a little concerned, because I have no idea what the future of this application is like.
Perhaps you can tell us a little about your background as a Mac developer? And your future plans for Mori?
Jesse! Thank you again. Not only for these apps you’ve written, but also for the better than professional manner in which you helped make it happen. You’re cordial and accommodating, and demonstrate the meaning of man and kind. You made it much easier for the users and me.

I hate to admit it, but I’m getting that sinking feeling. Here we are, a couple months later and no word. How goes it? Is there any progress?
