I'm really curious: which applications in the 100 US$ realm do you compare Mori to? All I can think of (Macjournler, Voodoopad, Yojimbo ...) is 40 US$ or *less*.

Hi,
well, I am looking forward to see the new developments coming out… I wonder though what features will be in the "pro"-version to justify the price. Even though it will not be my problem personally, having a Mori-licence I think this is a lot of money. I can understand you interest in raising your net-income significantly, it (the higher price) might properly signal to play in another legue…

You might be thinking about Devon-products as a comparison to Mori and indeed there are some things not (yet) possible with DTP which are with Mori, still I wonder how you will be able to fare against a company with many more programmers, a big sales-department and advertizing-team. DTP 2.0 is supposed to come forward soon… Mori in general is much more flexible than DTP BUT looks much less polished, on the other hand DTP is "Aqua" but this is supposed to change with DTP 2.0.

Well, as I said, i am looking forward to see new and improved and stable bug(less)free stuff coming.

Greetings,

Rolf

Hi,

I wanted to add that indeed MoriDraw was interfering, now mGTD works just fine with Mori 1.6.11

Greetings

For any mGTD users out there, it seems that the conflict was being caused by a separate plugin (MoriDraw, I think) and not mGTD. So anyone who was holding off on upgrading to 1.6.11 needn't wait.

Best,
Jeff

Yeah, the CIA was pretty groovy back in the day, too.

Hog Bay Notebook, however, was a different animal from Mori in that it was a simpler note-taking app with less sophisticated workflow, organizational tools and expandability. Hog Bay Notebook made it a little easier to write up entries ("files" in its lexicon), having an interface that will have a better incarnation in Mori's 1.7 release. But Mori was rewritten from the ground up to be a more powerful notebook app, with more flexibility in adjusting to your workflow, allows more sophisticated notebooks with user-defined columns, plugin support for support for even more data and user-interfaces, tags, smart folders, aliases, etc.

That's understandable. I had to get this release out for the other show-stopping bugs the others were experiencing, though. I still need to learn mGTD well enough to duplicate the bug and isolate what change was responsible in 1.6.10 for breaking mGTD compatibility, so that 1.6.12 is likely to materialize once I do.
