Description
This is a minor one, but Mori does not remember the "Check Spelling as you type"-setting. I turn it off and it will turn it on again when I open the next file in a new window.

I wouldn't cosider it minor since I never use spell checking (it just doesn't work with the mix of multiple spoken and programming languages that I use in notes) and the red squiggles are getting on my nerves.

Just attached a workaround.
I like your workaround picture! It describes the nib edit process quite well.
But are you sure that the spell check setting isn't working? It appears to work correctly for me. If I turn off "Check Spelling as You Type", that setting is remembered next time I open that notebook in Mori. The confusion may be that the spell check setting is remembered per notebook. So if you have multiple notebooks you'll need to change the setting in each notebook.
If a note is open in its own window, it is not remembered. You have to turn it off with every single note.

In the soon to be released Mori 1.2 you can choose the default value for check as you type spell checking in the text editing preferences.
