This page will experience continued changes for the time being.
Here's a quick rundown of what my plans for Clockwork are, and what you can expect to come very soon.
Changes to the UI. No more metal.
Inlining of buttons, so less screen real estate is taken, and it's simpler and more elegant.
Most popular and oldest requests have priority for inclusion in a feature release. The degree to which the request falls into the philosophy, and can be done simply and easily determines how likely it will be included in Mori. The degree to which I'm familiar with the portion of code which would have to be changed carries less weight in the decision.
v1.5
Clock-based alarms
Stop on exit
Better 1/10 display
inline buttons
New look
Self-downloading
Later...
A separate component for more advanced clock/alarm features is also being planned.
Tighter integration with Mori.
Tighter integration with Mori
It seems like I may be the only person interested in integrating Mori and Clockwork. I had developed an AppleScript that I am still using to integrate HogBay Notebook and Clockwork so I could use them as means of tracking projects and timesheets. I modified the AppleScript to work with Mori, but I am still using Notebook, rather than Mori because it has features that were removed from Mori that I still use. As no one else seemed to be interested in this sort of integration, it didn't make sense for me to request features that Jesse, nor anyone else, was intested in implementing or using.
So, I am intrigued by what you have planned to enable tighter integration between Clockwork and Mori. If you have any plans of adding XML-RPC to communicate with my installation of web publishing systems, especially Symphony, you've got my attention. Ideally, I want the speed of a desktop application to be seamlessly integrated with Symphony as a design business administration tool.
Is there any chance that this could be worked into your plans for Mori and Clockwork?
