Custom toolbar icons?

Tags ( )

Is it possible to change the icons for AppleScripts? I have several scipts that I use in Mori, but I don't know if/how to change their icons.

RE: Custom toolbar icons?

Whose toolbar? Where would you like to customize the icons? In Finder?

Mori doesn't add scripts to the toolbar, although that would be a rich feature, to be sure.

When you open a Mori

When you open a Mori document and decide to Customize the Toolbar, some of us have scripts there. I have two. One that sends an entry to iCal and one that sends and entry to Mail. Dragging these AppleScript icons to the toolbar in Mori makes them easy to access. Which is great. The question is wether it is possible to have the icons look like something other than the 'S'-looking AppleScript icons.

AppleScripts in Mori's Toolbar? Tell Me How!

Wow. I just said scripts can't be added to a toolbar and you tell me you've got it done!

Please tell me how as this would enable a lot of functionality from the feature request list. And I'd be able to figure out where the icons are which need to be overridden.

Scripts in toolbar

Sure.

Put the scripts in Mori's scripts folder (where else?).
Ctrl-click toolbar.
Select "Customise toolbar..".
Scripts will show in dialog sheet; drag to toolbar.
(If scripts don't show click Update in Scripts menu)
That's it - at least in version 1.6.3.
But accidents happen...

I run my GTD thing with toolbared scripts

I Recognize That. How Embarassing!

You're right, of course.

I remember dealing with the scripts while fixing the Toolbar issues. *sigh*

Okay, I'll figure out a way to modify a script's icon.

Great!

Great!
