My older File Link script does not work when Mori is not running in English.
File Linker is localised, to work with Mori when it runs in other languages.
When you want a script to run localised you must use a bundle, to store the various languages.
But a script menu can run only plain scripts; when you want to use a script bundle or applet bundle you must place it elsewhere, and run it through a 'proxy' in the script menu (this Macscripter thread).
There is another way, but it's ugly - from a scripter's viewpoint, anyway.
The File Linker applet contains the Satimage osax, to allow selection of files AND folders from the same dialog. This should work as provided, but if it does not you can move the osax to ~/Library/ScriptingAdditions/. The osax is at (applet)/Contents/Resources/Scripting Additions. Caution: note that that last folder has a space in it's name - the filesystem folders of that name do not.
Developed in Tiger. I believe it should work in Leopard - tell me if it doesn't.
Download contains:
- Instructions
- File Link script (the proxy)
- File Linker applet
