Hi,
I am testing Mori to see if I can use it to replace my anarchic Stickies.
I have two user sessions on my computer, one to work, one not to work. I have put a Mori notebook in my Shared folder with permission to read & write for both users.
Still, Mori refuses to open the notebook, which was created in session 1, in session 2. It tells me "The operation could not be completed. No other information is available about the problem."
And then it opens a second popup to tell me "The document “PersoBook.mori” could not be opened. You do not have appropriate access privileges." -- Which is not true: both users have read & write privileges.
That's a bit of a shame, any way to make it work? A chmod 777 on the file does not solve the issue.
It's a package
Not sure whether this is the solution, but try this:
Mori notebooks are packages, not files.
Open package (ctrl-click>show package contents).
Check permissions on top folder; they should be identical to the notebook's permissions.
Adjust when different.
Click "Apply to enclosed items' (not sure about wording, running Dutch), and close window.
Hope this solves the problem.
