Is Clockwork Development Dead?

Tags ( )

Just recalling that I bought Clockwork back in July of 2007 with a promise of a free upgrade. I wrote six months later in January 2008 to see when Clockwork would get an update. This was the reply:

"Thank you for continuing to support Clockwork, and being so patient for the update!

This is one of the reasons why I'm trying to put Mori on a fairly quick update schedule where I add a couple bugfixes and features every few days in order to get back to Clockwork and do other projects concurrently.

A couple items that Clockwork is in dire need of is an actual alarm clock, where you can specify the time at which to sound, rather than the amount of time before the alarm is triggered; and an ability to play some other audio files, including from iTunes.

Also, the UI definitely needs an overhaul. I'll maintain the graphical input, but I'm also going to add a text-based input which should provide for easier entry and editing of alarms."

Years have past and I'm just looking for a confirmation that Clockwork is, indeed, Dead.

Development Dead

I'm not sure development is dead, but i'm coming to realise that releases are. It seems like development is always going on, just not getting to the point of a release.

I'm afraid it looks this way on all of the Apokalypse Apps, there's always something else that needs doing before a release can be made.

Shame. A lot of them are nice apps that really just need a bit of work, rather than complete overhauls which seems to be the approach.

Sorry,
