Description
This would allow splitting the note window either vertically or horizontally so that multiple parts of a long note can be viewed and edited simultaneously.
It's very useful for referencing one part of a note while adding to another part of a note. It also works differently from having multiple windows open because it takes up almost no extra space (just a splitter, no toolbars etc. are duplicated)

I used to use this ALL THE TIME in emacs. Even with the ability to open multiple windows, it's still useful sometimes, especially if you need to fit other stuff onto the screen at the same time.
I'd like to see split view for the same document implemented sooner than later. It's a killer feature in much uglier and confusing apps such as TAO (and keeps me coming back despite its lack of "usability").
Thanks
