Am I alone in finding the "requests & bugs" forum difficult to use?
Among the problems I've found are:
- current beta versions of Mori not listed in bug submission form (presumably leading to bad data at Hog Bay end);
- searching doesn't return results even if search term is clearly present in items;
- bug list doesn't show date or status;
Is there something I'm missing, or is it just not as smooth as it could be?
The first issue is because I
The first issue is because I haven't made an "official" release of Mori 1.2 on the website yet, and so the webside issue tracker doesn't know about Mori 1.2. For now just ignore the version stuff, most of the time I don't make use of it anyway.
Searching I'm not really sure about. I've noticed that it's a bit weird too, but I'm not sure what to do about it. It's a complicated module and difficult to edit. But I do agree that it needs improvement. The "project" module that I'm using to track these bugs is still in development and not quite ready to be used with Drupal 4.7 (the software that I'm using to run this website). It may be that the situation gets better once the full 4.7 version of the project module is released.
"bug list doesn't show date or status"
I've just changed things so that a "last updated" column is shown on the "requests & bugs" page. I've also greatly simplified the list of status options. Now there are just "active, duplicate, won't change, and closed". Only active issues should show up in the list on the "requests & bugs" page.
