Description
It would be really useful if the folder icon in the sources and entries views indicated whether the folder itself includes a note. When a folder contains a nested note it is shown by the presence of an arrow, but when the folder itself has a note there is no indication at all.
Updates
I do agree that this is necessary, and it's pretty easy to do programatically, but all of my attempts at adding text to the folder icon look extraordinarily ugly. I'll try again, but if anyone else has suggestions for how to modify the icon that would help.
What about something liek this http://www.geekculture.com/download/images/newpogueicons/messypogues.jpg except instead of heads use a text file with text on it.
I was thinking that you don't have to put lines of text on the body of the folder (like the Mori file icon,) but even something more subtle would work. Either make the tab of the folder darkened or colored (like it's been labeled) or you could put a single character on the folder body.
If you can't make it work as an icon just bring back HBN's text indicator arrow next to the title.
Workaround: use the built-in word count column.
